They provide<br \/>\nrecommended technical parameters and procedures from which<br \/>\nautomated design and spectrum management tools can be developed to<br \/>\nanalyze proposed configurations that can temporarily exist during a<br \/>\n&#034;rebanding&#034; or &#034;narrowbanding&#034; migration process as well as for<br \/>\nlonger term solutions involving different technologies.<\/p>\n<p>As wireless communications systems evolve, it becomes<br \/>\nincreasingly complex to determine compatibility between different<br \/>\ntypes of modulation, different channel bandwidths, different<br \/>\noperational protocols, different operational geographic areas, and<br \/>\napplication usage.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, spectrum managers, system designers and system maintainers<br \/>\nhave a common interest in utilizing the most accurate and<br \/>\nrepeatable modeling and simulation capabilities to determine likely<br \/>\nsystem performance.
